The Golf Academy’s 9 Hole Par 3 Challenge Course, also designed by Gary Player, measures 1,148 yards. It was designed to offer to both the beginner and the more advanced golfer the opportunity to practice a variety of shots with emphasis on the short game.
The island green on the Academy's 9th Hole provides a foretaste of the many water hazards awaiting the golfer on The Cascades Championship Course. A double-ended shaded driving range, generous practice greens for pitching and putting round out Soma Bay’s golfing facilities.
